John Orton
Student Minister
John Orton was born and grew up in the great city of Chicago, IL, and now lives in a beautiful suburb northwest of the city itself. In desiring to follow the Lord’s call for him and his family, he is excited to, as of late 2024, now call Trinity Community Church home. John has had the joy of being a Youth Pastor since 2016, dedicating his life to the desire to lead students to life in Christ. With that calling comes the great opportunity to love students, offering them the same hope that he was offered and reinforcing the truth that God is calling EVERYONE to him. John is lucky to be blessed with a beautiful wife, Amanda, and a wonderful son, Noah. He is an avid sports fan, especially that of Chicago teams (except the sox), and also partakes in the playing of those sports himself as often as he can make time. Aside from that, he loves TV shows, movies, great Fantasy literature, smoked meats, and a community of friends and family.
