Longing for Judgment

This Sunday we examine the Scriptures' teaching on the judgment of God.  Among the Lord's promises is His promise to one day set all things right.  He will act as a just judge and restore what has been compromised by sin, Satan and death.  God's judgment will culminate in consigning all his foes to Hell and banishing all that is not reconciled to his Kingdom.  Though this might strike us as a brutal doctrine, it is in fact a reality that we should long for.  Without it, the Scriptural promise that God will have victory over evil is just talk.
