Series: Go!: The Great Commission
Making Disciples For Life
May 03, 2020 | Stephen Love
Passage: Matthew 28:16-20
Obeying the command of Christ in Matthew 28 is fulfilled not so much in WHERE we go, but in HOW we go. In other words, making disciples isn't restricted to "over there", but the geographical perimeters of disciple-making are marked by wherever God's people are. Your home, your school, your job, your marriage is the perfect ground in which to grow disciples. And growing disciples is a life-long endeavor. We never graduate from the school of being made into a disciple nor celebrate a commencement ceremony from the school of making disciples. Matthew 28 will show that "all that I have commanded you" is the most beautifully exhaustive job description that every Christ follower has.
