Mercy Ministry

At TCC, we desire to be together for the good, displaying God’s goodness as we serve one another and serve our community.

There is a moment in one of the Gospels in which Jesus completes a sermon, preaching about the Kingdom of God, and as he walks away from the hill he preached on, he encounters a person in need, in this case a man with leprosy. There at the foot of the hill, after announcing God's Kingdom, Jesus demonstrates it: he heals the leper.

Christians follow in the way of Jesus. That means we too announce Christ's kingdom, and we demonstrate it as well. When we seek the good of our neighbors in need, we demonstrate that God's coming Kingdom is one in which justice prevails, pain is healed, humans are dignified, the grieving are comforted, nature is stewarded with compassion, and the glory of God is lifted up in the process.

At Trinity we call this demonstration of the Kingdom Mercy Ministry. Join us in any of the below ministries!

Serve Local

At Trinity, we believe that just as God poured himself out for us in our spiritual poverty, so we should pour ourselves out for our neighbors in need here in Lake County.

Love INC
Love INC brings together churches from many denominations to serve together as the Body of Christ, helping our neighbors in need in ways that one church could not do alone. From meeting tangible needs (such as beds) to learning alongside each other in New Hope Ministry life skills classes, Love INC offers meaningful opportunities to share the talents and time God has given you.
TCC organizes a team to make furniture deliveries on the second Saturday of the month. Contact Everett Meadors for more information about joining our team!
