Palm Sunday 2025

Christ announces himself as the king, entering Jerusalem on the back of a donkey as Israel expected Messiah to arrive. He does not return the praise of the crowds by congratulating God‘s people on their faithfulness. Instead, the very next day he disrupts the worship of the Temple. Christ came to become king of his people, and to purify their worship, which is to say, set aside a people for God.
