Passage: Proverbs 31:10-31

This week we reconsider the Proverbs 31 woman, the excellent wife.  Here we have an icon of how a wise person makes use of their resources and work.  She is honest, hardworking, and open-handed, but above all she is in the service of others.  The Christian ethic, when the chips are down, is an ethic of service, embodying the principle of "my life for yours."
