Kingship

October 06, 2024 | Mike Stancak

Passage: Proverbs 15:10-15

Wisdom is fulfilled by judgment.  In Proverbs, the role of the king is that of judge of the nation.  A nation under righteous judgment becomes righteous, but the inverse is also true.  A wicked king, lax in the way of justice, can bring a nation to grief.  In this final sermon on Proverbs, we consider the role of the king, and how Christ climactically fulfills it.
