Work

September 15, 2024 | Mike Stancak

Passage: Proverbs 6:6-11

Proverbs has much to say about work, chiefly that we should.  The staples of a Christian work ethic come down to effort, honesty, and competence, and judging by the number of Proverbs devoted to it, laziness may be our greatest obstacle to embodying these values.  Christians offer their work up to the Lord, but they won't get very far in doing so if they find it hard to work at all.
