If you boiled down what the Holy Spirit does to just two things, they would be 1) regeneration, and 2) empowerment. The Spirit gives life, and he gives power. In this Pentecost sermon we consider the first. At Pentecost, God poured out his Spirit to bring together a new people for himself who would be changed from the inside out.
