The Greatest in the Kingdom

The disciples get into a tiff when James and John think to ask Jesus what was on all their minds: can we get a piece of your glory, your fame, your importance?  The disciples reveal that they share more with Roman emperors than with Christ when it comes to their ideas of how to win greatness.  But Jesus' road  is one of self-giving service, culminating in his total gift of himself on the Cross.  That person who gives completely will be the greatest in the Kingdom.
