The Wisdom in Seeking Counsel

The Wisdom in Seeking Counsel

August 20, 2017 | Josh Hibbard

Passage: Proverbs 19:20-

Not long after I started following Jesus, I became aware of the fact that I had made a series of unwise decisions in the past. Many of these decisions were made on my own, and I failed to bring other people alongside to help me. My pride had gotten in the way and I wanted to be independent. But the book of Proverbs calls this type of behavior foolish. This Sunday, we are going to come face-to-face with our pride as we see how it often prevents us from being wise and seeking the advice of others.
