Unexpected Redemption

Unexpected Redemption

Passage: Matthew 11:2-19

This Sunday we watch as disciples from John the Baptist approached Jesus to confirm whether or not he truly is Messiah. Why would John have any doubts? How will Jesus answer? John’s doubts open up the opportunity for Jesus to explain the unexpected nature of his coming and his kingdom, and invites us to consider whether we have accepted Jesus as he is or the Jesus that we want. Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday!
