Wisdom by Weakness

Wisdom by Weakness

Passage: Matthew 11:20-30

It’s common to call wisdom the knowledge of how to live well.  But in this Sunday’s passage Jesus will say that many who consider themselves wise and understanding are the very ones too stubborn to recognize Jesus for who he is.  As a result, they miss out on the very thing that will give them rest, and let them live well.  But for those who acknowledge their weakness and approach Jesus on the basis of their need, there is a new way of life.  Join us this Sunday to hear how this implausible Messiah is the very one through whom God Himself is revealed and true rest is offered.  See you there!
