Assured of Belonging

September 03, 2023 | Mike Stancak

Passage: 1 Thessalonians 1:1-10

Paul begins his letter to the Thessalonians with a sigh of relief.  Despite having to leave them in the middle of persecution, the fledgling church is alive and well.  Paul opens his letter with thanksgiving, pouring forth all the ways in which he sees God at work in Thessalonica.  It is because of these things that he is assured that the Thessalonians belong to God.
