Marks of a Healthy Church

In completing his first letter to the Thessalonian believers, Paul offers a string of commands that combine to paint a picture of a healthy, living church. By the grace of Christ, the sanctifying mercy of the Father, and the words of the Holy Spirit as we obey these commands we grow into a peaceful body filled with rejoicing and gratitude and devoted to prayer in which brothers and sisters take an active interest each other’s growth and sanctification and work to strengthen the weak and fainthearted.
