Passage: Psalms 1:1-6

Psalm 1 may not come to mind as a psalm that anticipates Messiah, until we ask, "Who actually fits this description?"  Jesus alone fulfills the images of the psalm.  The Torah's early description of the king echoes in the psalm as we are reminded that God's chosen one is one who is saturated in the law.
