Passage: Matthew 22:34-40

What is following Jesus all about? It’s common to try and summarize what it is that Jesus really taught. For some it’s all about our relationship with God: “Jesus came to make us right with God.” Others say Jesus was all about people: “Jesus wanted us to love each other.” And each side likes to reduce Jesus down to whatever their preferred proposition is, and what we’re left with is a savior that sounds far more like us than like the real Jesus. For the real Jesus, were loving God and loving people ever really at odds? This Sunday join us as we hear from Jesus what kind of life he develops in his followers.
