Passage: 2 Peter 1:1-15
Peter launches into his second letter with the promise that Christians will take part in the life of God. But before we enjoy the fullness of that blessing, we have a very real, and very perilous journey to endure. Peter describes a ladder of qualities that safeguard our faith, qualities that God uses to bear fruit in our lives, to confirm our election, and to richly provide an entrance into his eternal kingdom. To embrace this process is to embrace how salvation works itself out in the life of the believer.
