Series: The Way
The Tenth Word
March 13, 2022 | Mike Stancak
This week we conclude our series on the Ten Commandments. More than just one last commandment, the Tenth Commandment is the interpretive key to the entire second tablet. The Tenth Commandment introduces the reality that sin is more than skin deep, and until our hearts are made new, we cannot embody the Law. The Ten Commandments force us to accept that we have not loved God and neighbor as we ought, but they also urge us toward Christ. In fulfilling the law, Christ released his life into the Church so that Law is no longer a burden, but becomes the constitution of the people of God.

Grace Alone
by Kings Kaleidoscope
I was an orphan, lost at the fall;
Running away when I’d hear you call,
But Father, you worked your will.
I had no righteousness of my own
I had no right to draw near your throne,
But Father, you loved me still.
And in love, before you laid the world’s foundation,
You predestined to adopt me as your own.
You have raised me up so high above my station;
I’m a child of God by grace, and grace alone
You left your home to seek out the lost
You knew the great and terrible cost
But Jesus, your face was set.
I worked my fingers down to the bone
But nothing I did could ever atone,
But Jesus, you paid my debt.
By your blood I have redemption and salvation.
Lord you died that I might reap what you have sown,
And you rose that I might be a new creation.
I am born again by grace, and grace alone.
I was in darkness all of my life
I never knew the day from the night,
But Spirit, you made me see.
I swore I knew the way on my own
Head full of rocks, a heart made of
stone
But Spirit, you moved in me.
And At your touch my sleeping spirit was awakened;
On my darkened heart the light of Christ has shone.
Called into a kingdom that cannot shaken;
Heaven’s citizen by grace, and grace alone.
So I’ll stand in faith by grace, and grace alone
I will run the race by grace, and grace alone
I will slay my sin by grace, and grace alone
I will reach the end by grace, and grace alone
WELCOME
CALL TO WORSHIP
Psalm 25
Psalm 150 (Praise the Lord)
by Matt Papa & Matt Boswell
You made the starry hosts,
You traced the mountain peaks;
You paint the evening sky with wonders.
The earth it is Your throne
From desert to the sea;
All nature testifies Your splendor.
Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord;
Sing His greatness all creation.
Praise the Lord, raise your voice;
You heights and all you depths,
From furthest East to West,
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
You reached into the dust,
In love, Your Spirit breathed.
You formed us in Your very likeness.
To know Your wondrous works.
To tell Your mighty deeds;
To join the everlasting chorus:
Let symphonies resound,
Let drums and choirs ring out,
All Heaven, hear the sound of wor - ship;
Let every nation bring
Its honors to the King,
A roar of harmonies, eternal.
Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord;
Sing His greatness all creation.
Praise the Lord, raise your voice;
You heights and all you depths,
From furthest East to West,
You distant burning stars, All creatures near and far,
From sky to sea and shore, Sing out forevermore,
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord
Jesus Is Better / Holy Holy Holy
Austin Stone Worship
There is no other so sure and steady
My hope is held in Your hand
When castles crumble and breath is fleeting
Upon this rock I will stand
upon this rock I will stand
Glory Glory we have no other King
But Jesus Lord of All
We raise the anthem, our loudest praises ring
We crown Him Lord of All
Your kindly rule has shattered and broken
The curse of sin's tyranny
My life is hidden 'neath Heaven's shadow
Your crimson flood covers me
Your crimson flood covers me
In all my sorrows Jesus is better make my heart believe
In every victory Jesus is better make my heart believe
Than any comfort Jesus is better make my heart believe
More than all riches Jesus is better make my heart believe
Our souls declaring Jesus is better make my heart believe
And our song eternal Jesus is better make my heart believe
Holy holy holy
Lord God Almigh - ty
Early in the morning
Our song shall rise to Thee
Holy holy holy merciful and migh - ty
God in three Per - sons blessed Trinity

COMMUNION
The House of God Forever
Jon Foreman
God is my Shepherd
I won’t be wanting, I won’t be wanting
He makes me rest
In fields of green, with quiet streams
Even though I walk
Through the valley, of death and dying
I will not fear
Cause You are with me, You are with me
Your Shepherd’s staff Comforts me
You are my feast In the presence of enemies
Surely goodness
Will follow me, follow me
In the house of God forever
Great Is Our God
Young Oceans
Come let us praise Him
Let us kneel at the throne of our God
Through His Son our salvation was bought
With mercy and grace.
Come let us bow down
In His hands are the depths of the earth
With one voice we proclaim His great worth
Lord our God
And we will seek Him our Rock of Sal - vation
Morning by morning with Thanksgiving we come
And we will bow down with creation we cry out
In daylight and darkness we sing to the Lord
Great is our God Great is our God
Great is our God.
Lord of all nations
We will stand at the end of our days
In your courts and de - clare your great ways
In Spirit and Truth
We long for your kingdom
Bring your thunder and gather the earth
All who tremble will tell of Your worth
Lord our God
All Glory Be To Christ
Kings Kaleidoscope
Should nothing of our efforts stand, no legacy survive
Unless the Lord does raise the house, in vain its builders strive
To you who boast tomorrow’s gain, tell me what is your life
A mist that vanishes at dawn, all glory be to Christ!
All glory be to Christ our king! All glory be to Christ!
His rule and reign we’ll ever sing, all glory be to Christ!
His will be done, His kingdom come, on earth as is above
Who is Himself our daily bread, praise Him the Lord of love
Let living water satisfy the thirsty without price
We’ll take a cup of kindness yet, all glory be to Christ!
When on the day the great I Am, the faithful and the true
The Lamb who was for sinners slain, is making all things new.
Behold our God shall live with us and be our steadfast light
And we shall ere his people be, all glory be to Christ!
