So often we spend our lives believing the content of the Gospel, but don’t see how it shapes our lives.  We understand that the coming of the Kingdom in the Cross of Christ is the most important news in the world, but how does it really change the way we work, the way we consume media, the way we prioritize our weekly activities, the way we engage with friendships, or even the way we prepare to age and die?  We believe that the Gospel absolutely speaks to all those things and more, which is why this past spring we invited you to submit suggestions for topics you would like to hear discussed.  We’ve compiled the most common suggestions, and this summer we will be taking them one by one and demonstrating the real, down-to-earth, practical ways the Gospel shapes our lives.  This is Gospel in Life

Discussion Questions:

  1. What was new or fresh to you in hearing the Gospel this time?  What stuck out to you as important from the sermon?
  2. Do you lean more toward thinking of the Gospel in terms of the Cross, or in terms of the Kingdom?
  3. What is the Gospel?  What is it about the Gospel that matters most to you in this moment of your life?
    1. Leaders, this may be a really important opportunity to allow your group members to self-diagnose how they need God to be working in their lives.
  4. Spend time praying together, thanking God for his grace in the Cross of Christ and asking that he would guide you further along the way of his Kingdom as a group.
