The message of the Christian faith is a message of new life. On offer are many theories of how we experience new life. Do we reinvent ourselves and make our own meaning? Do we die and live again numerous times until our soul is mature enough to join with the divine? The Christian answer is that new life is brought to us by the son of God who died and rose to new life. By being joined to him, we anticipate renewed, embodied life in the kingdom of God.
