Passage: Genesis 1:26-28

What sets humans apart?  What makes a person so uniquely valuable?  The answer on offer is often that we are not uniquely valuable, or if we are it is only because we are the creatures who made up fictions powerful enough to coordinate huge groups of people into creating civilization itself.  The answer of the Scriptures, on the other hand, is that humans are unique because we are made in the image of God.  This Sunday we unpack what this means.
