Taking Part in Praise

One of the things that we've been seeing in this series on prayer is that Christian spirituality only happens when God looms large. When we realize the transcendence of God, that God is the one who needs nothing for his own blessedness, then we realize that everything we have, even life itself, is gift. And the way that we respond to the gifts of life and salvation is through what we call praise.
