The Life of Prayer: Prayer Service

Series: Taking Part: A Series on Prayer

The Life of Prayer: Prayer Service

August 02, 2020 | Mike Stancak

We’ll be closing out our series on prayer with a Sunday gathering devoted to praying.  We know that with current social distancing recommendations and the added presence of many of our children in the service, that may sound intimidating.

There will be four kinds of prayer represented in the service: individual/family prayer, a pastoral prayer, responsive prayer, and group prayer.  Social distancing should be easy with all of these, even the group prayer.  We just ask that folks stand or sit at a reasonable distance from each other as you pray together. Anyone who is uncomfortable with group prayer, even at a distance, is free to participate in that part of the service by simply praying on their own instead

Praying together is enormously important.  We want to be a praying people, which means not only praying as individuals, but praying as a people.  We are excited to share this time with you all on Sunday.
