Why Pray?

Series: Taking Part: A Series on Prayer

Why Pray?

May 31, 2020 | Mike Stancak

Passage: Acts 4:23-31

Many of us know we should pray. Sometimes our prayerlessness hangs over our heads. We know we ought to be more prayerful, but the truth is that we don't know why. Prayer seems like a peaceful discipline, but does it actually matter? This week we continue our series on prayer, asking the question: Why pray? And the answer will lead us into the very outworking of God's plans in the world, as we realize that prayer is the God-chosen way that the kingdom breaks into our world and our hearts.
