Ascended into Heaven

October 05, 2025 | Mike Stancak

Passage: Daniel 7:9-14

Jesus' work is completed by his ascension into heaven where he is said to sit at the right hand of God, sharing his rule and authority.  Christ reigns presently to superintend the ending of human history.  The ascension to heaven is the moment he accepts his rightful throne, but it is more than that.  It is the moment his sacrificial death is brought to the Holiest Place, to heaven itself, to be forever presented before the Father, a never ending and pleasing intercession for the people of God.
