He Came Down from Heaven

Series: To The Exiles

He Came Down from Heaven

September 07, 2025 | Mike Stancak

Passage: Philippians 2:1-11

Here the Creed begins to recite the work of Christ.  Christ came down from heaven.  The glory that would be appropriate for him he leaves behind to share in the suffering of his people, coming with no majesty, accepting humiliation and want.  And the most unimaginable thing about it is that he does it for us and for our salvation.  His life is made to be a gift for those who would not give their lives to him.
