Returning to Judge

The news of the Gospel is the news of a regime change: the kingdoms of earth give way to the kingdom of heaven.  As we heard last week, Christ has been enthroned in heaven, and a change in the ruler inevitably means a lot of other things are about to change too.  Christ is preparing to one day make all things conform to his will and set all things right.  Those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will be satisfied, but this also requires that those who cling to the old regime will be cast out.
