The Church

Included under the article of the Holy Spirit in the Nicene Creed is the statement on the Church.  This is because the Church is an accomplishment of the Spirit, the one who unites us, sanctifies us, is present in all the many rooms of the vast household of God's people, and leads us into the depths of the truth once for all delivered to the saints from the apostles.  With that in view, we can begin to understand what is meant by the words "one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church."  If you are looking for the work of the Spirit, start at the Church.
