The God Who Dwells With Us

Series: Exodus: The God Who Is

The God Who Dwells With Us

December 06, 2020 | Everett Meadors

Passage: Exodus 25:1-9

Now that God's people have agreed to the terms of His covenant, God reveals how He will dwell with them. God gives them the plans for a splendid home that will require the best of what they have and even supernatural skill to prepare. God's home is meant to display His beauty and holiness in the center of the Israelites' camp and to be the core of their community life. It is also a model and a promise of a future, more intimate dwelling of God with His people. And, it is a summons to us who live as a more scattered and dispersed community to continue to live lives centered on the presence of the beautiful and holy God.
