Passage: The Revelation to John Revelation 21:7-15

In this week's passage, Satan finally meets his end and all Creation culminates in one thing: the Great White Throne.  God's perspective becomes the only, indisputable reality and all falsehoods and pretensions are dissolved.  Judgment is given, and each person's life summarized by whether they truly lived, or if they are truly dead, and therefore fit only for the second death.  The lake of fire stands as the image of the final purge of Creation, that second death that scalds away everything that is not fitted to true life, the life of God in Christ.
