Passage: The Revelation to John Revelation 14:1-20

Following a chapter in which John showed us the threat of the state and its accessories, he then shows us a vision of the holy opposition. However powerful the dragon and his tools are, the Lord has set Christ on Zion, his holy hill, and Christ is reigning with his saints. The answer to the power of the beasts comes by the proclamation of the Gospel. The saints on earth are called to endure, to keep faith in Jesus, and to labor for the kingdom because the power of the beasts is only a temporary power. Those marked by the Lamb are part of a counterrevolution of worship, refusing the worship of the dragon to lift up our worship to the Son of Man who will harvest his own to himself.
